This course will focus on accessibility in elections pertaining to accessibility laws and resources, accessibility survey guidance, building guidance, signage, accessibility solutions and best practices. It will provide an introduction to federal provisions for polling places and accessibility, and will point to resources for election officials to leverage as they aim to reach and/or maintain compliance.

Voters with disabilities deserve the right to participate in every part of the elections process. This course is designed to equip election officials with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance accessibility in elections and ensure that voting processes are inclusive for every voter, but especially for voters with disabilities.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of accessibility considerations; from understanding the barriers that individuals with disabilities face, to implementing practical solutions to address them, we cover a wide range of topics aimed at creating more accessible elections.
